Look for Spider-Man 4 in May of 2011, the writer and director of Gladiator to make a vampire movie?, and more...

In the news:

Spider-Man 4 will be released in theaters on May 4th, 2011, in Imax as well, though no word on anything involving 3D.

John Logan and Ridley Scott might potentially be teaming up again, this time on a vampire flick, based on a book (like every other vampire product these days).

Zach Galifianakis has signed on to be one of the leads in a dramedy by Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden, the duo behind Half Nelson and Sugar.

The next film for the director of Let the Right One In will be a sex-change drama starring Nicole Kidman.

Among the new cast members for the film version of The A-Team are District 9's Sharlto Copley and Jessica Biel.

Finally, Roger Avary will be returning to Silent Hill with a sequel to the video game adaptation, once again scripting it.

-Thoughts?

  1. Hopefully we get Spidey 2 and not Spidey 3...

  2. Could it be that Zach Galifianakis could soon be known as Academy Award Nominee Zach Galifianakis? Nobody thought that Ryan Gosling would be oscar nominated before Half Nelson came out.
