Up in the Air gets a Release Date that's one to be thankful for...

Yes, we've got an official release date for Jason Reitman's 'Up in the Air' (it was originally just scheduled for sometime in December). Look for it to open in limited release on November 13th, with full expansion on November 25th.
-The Thanksgiving period is turning into a great time for films, and this one is at the top of my list of things to see around then...what about you?

  1. I've definitely watched the trailer at least five times, I'm so pumped for this movie, and the earlier release date is great. It's certainly one of my most anticipated of the Award season.

  2. I am very confident. I keep asking myself how it could possibly be better than Juno, but it seems like an unrelated question because this looks like a totally different type of film.

  3. Obviously I can only go one the teaser, the clip, and my thoughts on the script, which I read, but while it's a different film, and won't be as iconic, it might be a better film overall...not ready to make a definitive statement, but it's definitely better than the script for Thank You For Smoking was

  4. Haven't read the script myself, but I can see where you're going with the "less iconic" thing. It definitely seems like a quieter film if that makes any sense, it's not something most teenagers will relate to like Juno (I'm guessing). But I do think it does have that potential to be a major Oscar contender.
