Spike Lee and Robert De Niro are teaming up to bring a drama about Alphabet City to cable's Showtime network.
Kate Hudson has found a costar in Gael Garcia Bernal for her romance film about a dying woman who falls for her doctor.
Woody Harrelson's fake superhero film has been picked up for release by Sony Pictures after its Toronto screening.
Look for Sam Mendes to perhaps make his next film a project developed by himself and Oprah, with Christopher Hampton penning the screenplay.
