Really neither was THAT good. Certainly they are both in my top ten, but top two? Heck no. They are here because the internet loves Tarantino and the Coens.
Really take away Christoph Waltz, the first scene and Brad Pitts atempt at italian, and what do we have? A teenage-"wouldn't it be cool the kill nazis and fill Hitler with bullets"-dream. That off course explains the internet love, but as a movie it's not even close to Hurt Locker, Up in the Air, 500 Days of Summer, Up and so on.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?

ReplyDeleteIt's Inglurious Basterds' to lose. Awwww, how I wish this would translate to Oscars lol.
ReplyDeleteA Serious Man was not THAT good. Come on... Inglorious Basterds HAS to win his.
ReplyDeleteI loved A Serious Man, and am really surprised (and glad) that it has made it this far. Nevertheless, it's going to be Inglourious Basterds.
ReplyDeleteWe shall see...
ReplyDeleteInglourious Basterds will win this. It's the internet favorite.
