  1. Good read! Some data is open to interpretation, I imagine. The deaths after winning is a very high number when you think about how many people win! And who and/or how is it decided/s if your career plummets after winning? And yes, everybody thinks Cuba Gooding Jnr's career plummeted waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down!

  2. Well it's nice that the curse of Supporting Actress has left.

Swinton, Weisz, Cruz are all incredibly strong and I'm sure will continue to be so

But for a while you look at the careers of Mira Sorvino, Renee Zellwegger, Kim Basinger, Juliette Binoche ... all took a dive after winning

At least Marisa Tomei has turned it around. Because she was in that list for a while too

Also Matthew, year after Cuba won was Robin Williams. The man who is a genius 5% of the time and a joke 95%

  3. I disagree about Robin Williams' ratio, but fair enough.
