Being a fan of historical pics, especially those of English monarchs (I am a big reader/studier of Tudor history in particular and love the queens) I am so looking forward to seeing Victoria. The poster is quite stunning, because while it portrays the wealth of royalty, the regality and doctrine of it, it also shows a vulnerability of the young queen, a human side to her, and a love, a clinging to if you will, of herself to her husband whom she loved very deeply, perhaps more so than we ever really think royals can and do.
Ugh, Tim Allen directed something? And he managed to get poor Sigourney Weaver, Ray Liotta, and J.K. Simmons involved? Hollywood, there are bad ideas, like that Monopoly movie, or all the remakes of remakes of remakes. Then there are just flat out stupid ideas. This is one of them.
Are they still pushing The Young Victoria as a major contender. Sure, I gave it a B-, but I don't think it'll pick up traction. I'm even doubting whether it has chances of a costume nods...
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?
