  1. Ironically, the stars of 'The Other Guys' were originally set to star in 'Cop Out' (James Gandolfini and Robin Williams was another pairing attached)...seems like they really wanted to get to make a cop movie.

  2. Poor Samuel L. Jackson. Someone needs to give that guy a decent role.

  3. In response to the Oscar preview podcast, what exactly did Bill Murray do at the Oscars in 03 that the Academy needs to forget about? I'd never heard about this before and you guys don't explicitly mention what he did.

  4. He was just a bit of a sore loser, but I doubt it'll matter much, if at all.

  5. That sounds worse than it was, he just looked sad that he lost, and the preferred protocol is to be happy for the winner and not upset that it's not you....I don't find it to be a big deal at all.

  6. Liked the first trailer (as in got a couple chuckles out of it but would probably loathe the film in its entirety) ins pite of myself. The second one looked okay - good cast. And the third looks about the same as it's original film. I pose this question though - what is it with sequels taking action out of where the original was shot and placing it someplace else? Babe: Pig In The City . . . Garfield - A Tale of Two Kitties . . . and I'm sure there's a lot more but for now I'm just not thinking of them. Hopefully S&TC2 does better than the two afore-mentioned sequels!

  7. I'll probably see The Other Guy because of Michael Keaton, but the trailer was quite poor. I thought it was bad until I saw the trailer for Unthinkable. Probably the worst thrown together trailer I've seen from a major motion picture in a long time. It reminded me of those predictable joke trailers that people make up on youtube, but it's the actual trailer for the film.
