It's as if they didn't see any of the movies other than Hairspray. And they seem to think that Nikki Blonsky is something special. Two words. She's not.
Totally agree....Hairspray absoloutely is overrated...I mean, to think that the SAGs nominated it for best pic over Atonement...just a shame. Happy for Cotillard, though she doesn't have a chance at the Oscar (she'll suffer from Hepburn / Kerr syndrome for lip synching to the music)
I'm still mad... Ellen should have won! She was just amazing in her performance. And don't even think Marion will win the Oscar, Julie Christie beats her out!!
I don´t see Christie winning the Oscar... for some reason this case reminds me so much of Sissy Spacek in "In the Bedroom" who won the same critics awards as Christie - including the Golden Globe - and lost to Halle Berry at the Oscar´s. I believe this race is between Cotillard and Page. However, Juno will be rewarded at the Best Original Screenplay category, and that, very honestly, is QUITE enough. Marion Cotillard is unbelievable, and I´d even be embarrassed if she didn´t win. Surely the best performance of the year.
Cotillard all the way!!! i thought Pages performance in Juno was wonderful but come on that performance from Cotillard was absolutely fantastic! I think she has the best female performance of any this year! well done and her golden globe was DESERVED!! if she doesn't win at the Oscars then something is wrong!
There´s no way in hell Ellen Page should beat Marion, and neither should Julie Christie. The Academy Award for Best Actress belongs to Marion Cotillard. Period.
Who would you like to see be the main villain in the next Batman film?

ReplyDeleteShe soooo is. She's like an adorable chubby jumpy chihuahua who's allergic to Ridilin.
