  1. Wait, are these who people think should win, or who will win? Cause it ain't all that different from the Academy nominations.

(My favorite movie of the year was Hairspray, so sue me.)

  4. So nice to see some of the things I mentioned in my ballott...however, you definitely picked the wrong quote from "Juno"...shooulda been the iPod / babies quote or the shenanigan quote. Also, very sad to see that Atonement was snubbed in a lot of the nominations. Just terrible for people to think that the film is 'above us'....or that it is 'too British'....just you all wait and see, the Oscars will give it its just dues. One more thing...Laura Linney finally gets recognition!!! HURRAH!!!

  5. umm Shia Labeouf PARANOIA??

  6. Oh yes, my mistake. The movie is called Disturbia. I saw this movie in Portugal and I was thinking on its european title.

  9. I'm assuming the "standoff at hotel room" scene from No Country for Old Men is the scene where Chigurh almost kills Moss at the Eagle Hotel. If so I agree its the best scene of the year. If not the one in the gas station.
