    I didn`t...

    I respect him very much, I like a bunch of his films... but in the same level of Directors I think, I prefer Clint Eastwood!

    Fair enough, though I'm not a huge fan of Eastwood. I REALLY like a few of his films, but most of them leave me wanting more. I don't love Scorsese like some do, but he's definitely very good.

    I enjoyed his speech. It felt like a lecture and all the actors were attentive.

    Although I like a lot of Eastwood's movies, I never thought of him being in the same league or level as Martin Scorsese. Scorsese deserves to be mentioned in the upper echelon of filmmaking right alongside Hitchcock, Kurosawa, Bergman, Fellini, and Kubrick. The only other modern filmmaker I could put alongside these greats is Steven Spielberg.
