Lovely to see "Atonement" and "Zodiac" getting their just desserts. Ashame Wright missed out on director though
ReplyDeleteWoah, I'm liking the love of Zodiac, There Will Be Blood, and Eastern Promises. Very good shortlists, in my humble opinion. Absolutely no love for Sweeney Todd kind of sucks, though.
ReplyDeleteStill sad for James McAvoy !!!
ReplyDeleteHow I wish he cold get more attention.
Agreed! I thought he was brilliant in Atonement.
ReplyDeleteWhere's Joe Wright, James McAvoy, Keira, and Sweeney Todd???? And no Ratatouille for best score?
ReplyDeleteits great that Sam Riley is getting some love. Control was a great bio-pic, and Riley was spot on as Ian Curtis.
ReplyDeleteIts sad 3:10 is not getting much love...SAG recognized it, but nothing more. I guess you can't always get what you what.
yay for jennifer garner nomination finally shes getting some attention between this and beign in the top 5 on theenvelope.com and if you look on imdb a lot of fans are saying she gives the best performance i think she might pull a shocker upset in the supporting actress
