    Prediction: Its a fight between The Hurt Locker and Inglorious Basterds. IB is my ultimate favourite to win but I think the HFPA will vote for THE HURT LOCKER.

    Best Motion Picture
    (Musical or comedy)
    (500) Days of Summer
    The Hangover
    It's Complicated
    Julie & Julia
    Nine

    Comments: It could have been Nine to beat but its has been panned so badly though I think Marion Cottilard was its saving grace. I'll definitely go with (500) DAYS OF SUMMER.

    Jeff Bridges - Crazy Heart
    George Clooney - Up in the Air
    Colin Firth - A Single Man
    Morgan Freeman - Invictus
    Tobey Maguire - Brothers


    Comments: Yes the sentimental choice is Jeff Bridges, but i want COLIN FIRTH to win. Extremely heartbreaking performance.

    Comments: It must be CAREY MULLIGAN. She gave the other best breakthrough performance other than Monique. I hope they would not vote based on popularity and give it to Sandra Bullock.
