  1. I'm so pissed that I'm not a USA citizen. Damn, I would really like to see Up In The Air. I just know, I'll like it. I don't know how I'll survive until the end of January (that's when it opens in our country). So it goes without saying that I hope to see Up In the Air getting a lot of nominations (and oscars of course). The first trailer was top notch, I can't speak for anything else, unfortunately.

  2. Precious is a rough film but i thin AMPAS voters will go for it.

  3. From what I've read, The Lovely Bones really disappointed. Yet, Im such a big Peter Jackson fan that I hope a good number of voters will be at least giving it a say in the Supporting Actor,Cinematography and Score categories.
Nine really has lost momentum in my opinion so nom's will be much fewer than expected. However its pretty obvious that Avatar will pick up votes like crazy in almost every category.

  4. I think I watched all the potential movies including Up In The Air, and in my opinion, the most memorized is AVATAR and the HURT LOCKER. Third comes UP IN THE AIR and INGLORIOUS BASTARDS. I am sure AVATAR's gonna get a big love from Academy Members as one of the most exciting things that happened to movies in last decade or maybe ever. Up In the Air was great too, but after a day I watched it I went on with ordinary life :-) But when watched Hurt Locker and AVATAR- it took me couple of days to get back to real life, especially AVATAR. If Academy will not stick up to only script as it's not the only thing about a great movie, AVATAR would be my choice for sure. Precious- it was great but compared to Hurt Locker and Avatar and even Inglorious Bastards, it would not stand a chance of win. Nine was good in a a way too, but again it will just get a nomination.
