  5. I'm a fan of polite discourse Casey, and especially in terms of personal thoughts on film...no one is ever wrong, so there's no point in yelling, to me.

  6. The hangover was pretty dull film.

But its very nice to see that two animated films made it into their top 10.

  11. Well, thinking out of left field, or whatever field my mind is in at the moment, I hope, if A Single Man or A Serious Man, are nominated for and one of them wins best picture at any awards show, that whoever reads out the winner has their glasses on! With such similar titles we wouldn't want another "Marisa Tomei" rumour!

  13. I'm just thinking back to when The Hurt Locker was released and how much you guys loved it, and now with the nominations rolling in and Best Pic lists, sounds like you were on the money.

  14. (takes a bow)

I'm just happy a good film is doing well. Our enthusiasm for it started off as perhaps wishful thinking, but it's worked out (so far)...

  15. I like this list a lot. I would like to see (500) Days of Summer more, but I like the includison of Sugar and the Hangover. I wonder if it and Star Trek will split a lot of the popular/still a good movie non-arthouse vote?

    Bigelow in '10.
    Hurt Locker for the W.
